ABOUT EILYAR

The person who designs your facade is the person who installs it.

Eilyar is a graduate of architecture and the founder of Prestige Cladding. He has been designing and installing cladding systems across Toronto and the GTA for over 12 years.

Before starting Prestige Cladding, he worked on the design side of construction and saw how cladding projects routinely fell short of what was drawn. The cause was almost always the same: the person who understood the design intent was not present when the panels went up. Corners got adjusted. Joints shifted. Materials met at angles the drawings never showed. The facade looked almost right..

The facade either works, or it doesn't. Eilyar designs every project himself. Panel layout, joint spacing, corners, transitions at windows and openings, custom flashings. Every detail is resolved before fabrication begins, so the installation crew is not making design decisions on site. Then he leads that crew through the installation, on every project, without exception. 87 projects completed across the GTA. Homes in Forest Hill, Lawrence Park, Rosedale, Yorkville, and the Bridle Path. Renovations in Etobicoke, North York, Mississauga, Oakville, and Vaughan. The same process on all of them.

What changes when the designer installs the work

Panel layout is not a construction decision. It is a design decision with construction consequences. Where joints land relative to windows, how corners resolve, how two materials meet at a transition, what happens at the soffit line. These are choices that determine how the finished facade looks at street level, from across the road, and on close inspection. .

On a typical project, these details are never fully resolved before the panels go up. The installer encounters a window that sits slightly different than the drawing shows, a dimension that does not work out, a transition that was never detailed. Those calls get made on site, quickly, by someone whose job is to get the panels up, not to protect the design intent. They become permanent the moment the panel is fastened. .

At Prestige Cladding, every one of those details is resolved at the design stage, with the full picture. That is the difference between a facade that looks deliberate and one that looks assembled.

Products and why we use them

We work with suppliers whose products have consistent quality and proven performance across Ontario conditions. Freeze-thaw cycling, summer humidity, and UV exposure are hard on exterior finishes. We specify materials that hold up. .

For ACM work, we regularly specify ALUBOND panels. For wood-look aluminum systems, we install Longboard and Luxyclad, both engineered aluminum products with factory-applied finishes that deliver the warmth of wood without the maintenance or compliance issues that come with natural timber cladding. .

For mid-rise and high-rise applications, we source FR and A2 core panels tested to CAN/ULC-S134 as required by the Ontario Building Code. If you have a material already specified, we can work with it. If you need a recommendation, we will give you one based on the building, the budget, and what will still look right in 20 years.
